How to Get Involved
There are 5 Committees that comprise the Volunteer Guild
Fundraising Committee
Our goal is to raise the funds needed to support The Phoenix Ballet’s growth. This team will work on sponsorship packages, sponsorship tiers, monetary donations, and outreach to potential sponsors. The Fundraising Committee will collaborate closely with the Events Committee to maximize donor engagement. A key focus this year is raising $100,000 to employ our first group of professional dancers on yearly contracts. This committee will also take charge of “The Boutique” during the annual Nutcracker as well as expand this to other performances during the season.
Events Committee
This team will create memorable and consistent events for our community. These will include the upcoming Black Tie at the Ballet, Tea Parties, VIP cocktail receptions, and the Golden Swan Gala. Other creative performance related and non performance related events will also be planned here.
Marketing Committee
We would like to leverage the strengths of our volunteers to help expand our reach and keep audiences engaged year-round. This includes supporting monthly email campaigns, automated outreach, ticket promotions, flash sales, and season ticket packages.
Backstage Volunteers
This group will develop and follow a Volunteer Code of Ethics, signed before each performance. Backstage Volunteers will work closely with staff to ensure all shows and events are fully supported. Our goal will be to pair experienced volunteers with new volunteers to create a positive backstage workflow and provide ongoing training.
Special Talents
Do you have professional or personal skills that could benefit Phoenix Ballet? Whether it’s design, photography, legal, technical, artistic, or other talents — we’d love to hear from you about how your expertise can help The Phoenix Ballet grow and succeed.
